(==CRITICAL==)  - Perform cross turn.  - Explain Lead/Wingman Responsibilities. (==CRITICAL==)  - Explain lookout doctrine.  - Use ABC’s of radio communications.  - Utilize correct brevity codes.  - Conduct battle damage assessment.  - Conduct Case I Carrier Qualifications  - 10 arrested passes averaged together.  - 3 OK arrested (consecutive/non-consecutive) passes results in green chip. - If any cut pass is made, aviator must make 10 total arrestments.  - No more than 2 cut passes. (==CRITICAL==)  - 2 touch and go’s allowed in addition to 10 arrested passes.  - Conduct Case III Carrier Qualifications  - 2 arrested passes.  - 1 OK arrested pass results night CQ chip.  - (==F-14==) Conduct Automated Carrier Landing  ### AIR-TO-AIR - Demonstrate understanding of air-to-air mission sets. - emonstrate understanding of air-to-air briefing. - Demonstrate use of bullseye (F/A-18). - Demonstrate use of lead, pure and lag pursuit. - Correctly interpret target aspect. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate 1 circle and 2 circle BFM. - Demonstrate proper employment/LAR of A/A weapons. - Demonstrate proper radar employment. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate a commit to bandit aircraft. - Demonstrate proper F-Pole/Crank. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate proper use of ACM modes. - Demonstrate use of shooter/free fighter tactics. - Demonstrate use of drag defense. - Demonstrate proper sorting of contacts. - Utilize proper air-to-air brevity codes. - Use ABC’s of radio communications. ## RIO  - Demonstrate proper RIO cold start startup procedures. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate ability to operate navigation systems.  - Demonstrate proper non-combat mission callouts.  - CASE 1 Landings (==CRITICAL==)  - CASE III Landings (==CRITICAL==)  - Any other assistance required by the pilot  - Assist Pilot as needed during use of ACLS  - Use ABC’s of radio communications. ### AIR-TO-AIR - Demonstrate understanding of RIO cockpit relating to A/A missions. - Demonstrate proper use of radar modes. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate callouts in BVR fight. (==CRITICAL==) - Direct pilot with proper intercept geometry. - Correctly interpret target aspect. - Identify a 1 circle and 2 circle fight. - Demonstrate proper setup of armament control panel for A/A fight. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate use of AIM-54’s fired by RIO. (==CRITICAL==) - Demonstrate callouts in WVR fight. - Demonstrate proper sorting of contacts. (range & azimuth). - Use ABC’s of radio communications.
