# A/G Tasking
## Format
The ACU A/G tasking format is a modified version of an AIC bullseye similar to a MAC comm, but with significantly more information to enable more granular targeting.
A/G tasking calls include the following information:
1. Serialization: Effectively a mission number, this allows tracking of completion of multiple taskings
2. Task Type: any of the Dynamic Targeting Tasks (DTTs) may be used
3. Target Description
4. Desired Point of impact: desired weapon impact point for SMACK, best known target location for TARGET
5. Desired ordnance
6. Remarks
The A/G tasking is usually passed in three calls, the dynamic targeting call, the details call, and the remarks call.
## Dynamic Targeting Call
The dynamic targeting call is designed to establish the type and rough location of the tasking, to allow the receiving unit to begin orienting themselves and moving in the right direction, it is usually the first call made (ie, no “Advise when ready tasking” call). The serialization can follow any format, but two letters followed by two numbers is the standard format.
>[!example]
>“`[Callsign]`, `[Controller Callsign]`, Task `[serialization]`, `[DTT]`, `[bullseye name]`, `[bearing bullseye to target]`, `[range bullseye to target]`, call ready details”
>>[!quote]
>>“Winder 304, Closeout, Task Alpha-Alpha-0-1. TARGET rock 160/10, call ready details”
## Details Call
The details call provides a target description, location, and track direction if applicable. Coordinates can be passed in Lat Long or MGRS as appropriate, elevation must always be included.
>[!example]
>“`[Callsign]`, `[target description]`, `[target track direction]`, `[target location]`, call ready remarks”
>>[!quote]
>>“Evileye 53, three vehicle convoy eastbound, Grid AQ 032 045, elevation 458, call ready remarks”
## Remarks Call
The remarks call provides any amplifying information and any extra requests, it is generally plain english. It always ends with a request for the attacking aircraft to provide 3 calls when able, an estimated time of arrival (attack), A “time on target” call when attacking, and a BDA when the attack is complete.
>[!example]
> “`[Callsign]`, `[remarks]`, comeback with ETA, TOT, and BDA”
> >[!example]
> >“Camelot 205, confirmed enemy tanks in the open, 3x GBU-12, come back with ETA, TOT, and BDA”
## Complete Example
> [!example]
> ==ACU==: “Evileye 53, Closeout, Task Alpha-Alpha-0-1. TARGET rock 160/10, call ready details”
> `A/C`: “Evileye 53, ready details Alpha Alpha 01”
> ==ACU==: “Evileye, three vehicle convoy eastbound, Grid AQ 032 045, 458 feet, call ready remarks”
> `A/C`: “Evileye, three vehicle convoy eastbound, Grid AQ 032 045, 458 feet, ready remarks”
> ==ACU==: “Evileye, confirmed enemy tanks in the open, 3x GBU-12, come back with ETA, TOT, and BDA”
> `A/C`: “Evileye copy remarks, standby ETA”
> `A/C`: “Closeout, Evileye 53, ETA 5 mikes”
> ==ACU==: “Closeout”
> `A/C`: “Evileye 53, Paveway x3” (one call to ACU by flight lead)
> `A/C`: “Closeout, Evileye, Attack complete, 3 hits, no restrike required, MISREP”
> ==ACU==: “Evileye, Closeout, send MISREP”
> _`A/C` sends MISREP_
# Combat Advisory Broadcast (CAB) Calls
A CAB call is a AIC style broadcast call by the ACU to an entire net with threat and warning information about potential surface activity. Instead of bullseye, a pre briefed GEOREF can be used. MGRS or LAT LONG can be substituted as well.
>[!example]
>“99, `[ACU callsign]`, `[threat type]`, `[threat state]`, `[bullseye name]`, `[bearing from bullseye to threat]`, `[range from bullseye to threat]`, `([fill ins])`”
>>[!quote]
>>- “99, Closeout, SA-2 Active rock 260/8”
>>- “99, Closeout, SA-6 Active Site Alpha”
# Imminent Threat Warning (ITW) Calls
A CAB call is a AIC style tactical call by the ACU to a specific unit with threat and warning information about potential surface activity. BRAA format is preferred, but instead bullseye or a pre briefed GEOREF can be used.
>[!example]
>“`[callsign]`, `[threat type]`, `[threat state]`, BRAA, `[bearing from unit to threat]`, `[range from unit to threat]`, `([fill ins])`”
>>[!quote]
>>- “Winder 304, SA-2 Active BRAA 260/8”
>>- “Winder 304, SA-2 Active rock 260/8”
>>- “Winder 304, SA-6 Active Site Alpha”
# Trespass Call
A trespass call is a reactive warning when a unit is inside of the weapons engagement zone (WEZ) of a previously unidentified surface threat (e.g. a POP-UP SAM). BRAA or Bullseye format may be used. Brevity is critical, so the only the number of the SAM is given unless the SA is needed for clarity.
>[!example]
>“`[callsign]`, TRESPASS `[threat type]`, BRAA, `[bearing from unit to threat]`, `[range from unit to threat]`”
>>[!quote]
>>- “Winder 304, TRESPASS 2, BRAA 260/8”
>>- “Winder 304, TRESPASS 2, rock 260/8”
